Kelly and Matt’s wedding day was most perfectly perfect, like something that comes around once in a Blue Moon.  Take a peek and you’ll see why!

Check out Kelly’s incredible dress from The Dress by Nicole.  A few of her ‘something borrowed’ items included the pearl necklace her mom wore on her parents’ wedding day, and veil worn by her oldest sister.  {That’s me!}  Flower girl dresses for her nieces were sewn by her mom too, and incorporated the soft romantic palette of the day.  Their first look was at The Herrington Inn in Geneva, and there are a lot of snippets from their first look because they were all just so cute!  {We won’t mention the fact that I almost fell off a 10 foot drop right into the Fox River.  Hazards of walking backwards with a gigantic camera in your face all the time!}

After their first look, we headed over to Mill Creek Golf Club for their beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception.  The overall feel of the day was laid back and intimate, with a small guest list and just a couple of cute ring bearers and flower girls to complete the bridal party.  They decided against a cake, but had the most delicious mini cupcakes I’ve ever tried!  We couldn’t have been blessed with better weather – warm and sunny all day, a hazy sunset, and a cool evening beneath the Blue Moon.  The easygoing vibe continued into the night with bonfires and bags games on the patio during the reception.  Guests enjoyed roaming between the dance floor and the cloudless moonlit sky.

Some of the events you’ll see: silly siblings, “Minister selfies,” kids who love photography, a Blue Moon, fun with balloons, and a LOT of love all around.

Not pictured (oh, I got them, but the photo gallery was getting too big!): churro-flavored mini cupcakes, bags games out on the patio, bonfires, Blue Moon brew, family and dear friends, and much more 🙂  Congratulations, Kelly and Matt!  Thank you to the blue moon and back for asking me to document your best day yet.
